One word.

Ego. The one thing that all males possess. In comparison, a person with a higher sense of self-confidence tend to have a higher level of egoism. Yet, a person with low self confidence can have a high ego too, making them seem needy and often insecure with themselves. Then there is this group of people with no ego at all, ie, people with little self-esteem or self-confidence. So, there you go, we have three groups of people.

I know a few people with a huge ego. personally, i think a little ego wouldnt hurt nobody. In fact, a little ego is funny, and can be suitably hilarious at times. but everything has its limits, and once egoism goes overboard, it can quickly get on your nerves.

related to egoism is taunting, where that egoistic person tend to like to taunt everybody else. what i think it does is that it boost the person's ego even more, as he makes himself believe that he is better than the others. even when he is losing, he would still go on taunting. Its funny at times, and the taunts are very quotable. but it gets very irritating if it goes on without any limit. What i feel is that it depicts a very insecure image for that egoistic person. Yea, i know, its irritating cause you are the one at the recieving end. Which again further proves that person's insecurity.

Call me contradictory cause me myself am a very egoistic person. People told me that i have a BFE before, ie, Big Freakin Ego, Big Fat Ego, Big Fuckin ego, whichever you prefer. I have a very big one, but i know when to use it, and when to just shut my mouth up. Some people just are that insensitive, and do not know the right time to shut.

So, to conclude, yea, i can stand egoism. but i just cant stand it when it gets out of control, and believe me, when that happens, it just sucks.
