You are all sheepsi was watching half way through the lastest Star Idol on Channel Eight. It was about the last two contestant of the competition, their families, and their journey in the heartlands. And as expected, Bryan would surely be the one that is the more popular one. Honestly, the hosts are asking girls! Of course the one that is more handsomely build will be the one that is more popular than the other. Kinda sad somehow, the stereotype people have. And to think that the media further emphasised on sex, making bryan post in shots that have him wearing shorts, and being topless, while Leo, the other guy, just looks like some poseur on a bike.Ok, i am being biased. Yes, bryan can act, but so does Leo. And the worse part. Both of them arent that good of an actor. Bryan looks...constipated sometimes, and forced at other times. Leo is no better, his smile seemily plastered on his face. I admit that i didnt like Leo when i first saw him act, he gave me goosebumps. But i am kinda of a indie rebel kinda person. And i will always [ok, overstatement here, but you get the point], support the underdog, unless for some reason i support the person who is more popular, but only due to his or her talent. Like that singer from American Idol. Starts with M, that very awesome plump lady who sings so damn awesome, i could feel the wind from her voice even though i am away. Haha. I just heard her sang one of Stevie wonder's song, the only lyrics i can remeber is "checking out" or something like that, and man, was i blown away. Its really, really awesome. I remember i had this blog entry about sponges. I should think its suitably funny that now i am talking about sheeps, how everyone pratices the herd-mentality. Heck, even i am a sheep. The basic stereotype of a sheep, being dumb, stubborn, and always, always doing something as a group, like a copycat, just that, a copycat sounds lame and cliche. So there we have it. Sheeps. Random entry here. Somehow i came online with the mentality to talk about my disgrunted view on how the promotion of the Star Idol is going, but suddenly, i am blabbing away non-stop. Maybe i am just tired, or just too bored. Or i just wanna give my readers [which i doubt i have, except a few, especially those who tag, or put comments. Those who read this, post me a comment or something man!], something to think about, or just look at it, and shake their head at my absurdity. Anyways, for the next few days, i am going off for a trip to Cameroon Highlands, a place of farms, tea bags, tea plantations. And Steamboats. And a place that is almost 10 hours away. At least the air will do me good. Strawberries anyone? :) Justin ranted at 8:46:00 pm on the |
