The Lone Tree

Another lone tree.

They said she was on top of the world. Look at her. A single solitude above all existence, flirting around with the clouds in the sky. Some say you can even hear her singing the Carpenter's song, the one that goes, "i am on the top of the world, and looking down on creation." Nothing more apt will fit the description of this single tree in the white plains of our dreams.

They said she was on cloud nine. Look at her. A lovely white snow covered with flakes of joy all float around her. Its another day that pass by her, with the silence that nobody knows how to appreciate. Its another day that pass by her, with the light of the sun that shone like angels that came down to recieve you to heaven. Like the light at the end of the tunnel, the single beauty that is plastered and etched forever in your memories. Nothing more distinguished can this single tree by in this Atlas carried world of ours.

But all of that was what other people say.

There are times when people look at you, and how you are living your life, and draw conclusions from there. They turn your normal actions into stories that exaggerates your life, either destroying your traquility or further empasising on it. They make your biography something that they perceive. They think you are great, you are above all sometimes. But it takes courage, and the will to, to fully understand what a person is. What a person really loves inside, what a person really needs. It takes strength, and the effort to appreciate the person whom has been born to this world without any much choice to choose how he or she will turn out. But that doesnt happen. So far, i guess, it has only happened to a small percentage of the world, people whom really did found their soulmates. Other than that. Nada.

Sometimes, i think the world is biased. Nobody is born equal. All this talk about equality, about meritocracy is something that society came to create. He was born with the talent to do this, and so with meritocracy, he is better than some other person born without it. Its not his choice, yet it happens. Equality. Feh. Somehow it works when you look at society as a whole, but if you look at the intricate networks of people working, of them studying, you could see cliques, the different ostracization of people, the different bully of people.

I guess that what makes all of us human and unique, But somehow, i think its kinda unfair.

We are all like lone trees in this world. Nobody fully understand us, and they create their views of us based on semi superficiality. But i guess that's life. If everybody wants to understand us, then our soulmates will never be fully appreciated.

I guess if everybody wants to understand us...

Love will never exist.
