The SCI FOC camp 2006
Seriously.
Its one of the best camps that i have ever been to in my life. I thought that OBS was the best, but man, this camp beats all other camps hands down. I made many friends, and had many things to distract myself from the problem that had occured to me just before the camp. But first, the highlights of the camp.
- The seniors. And the people.
There were the nicest bunch of people that you can see in your life. Happy, cheery and easy to talk to, its just so easy to be friends with them, and the seniors are open to talking. I can remember just some long talks with some of them. Haha, but most of them are quite lame, with all those lame jokes, lame games and everything. But hey, they did alot to make the camp what it is, and so, i forgive them. :p
- The human Cluedo.
Man, was it the most shocking thing that i have ever seen in my life. A drama fest that was scripted to be made to seem real, and damn, it did felt real. you could literally feel the tension in the air, and the silence that precedes it. There was a fight, and a "suicide". All of us was shocked when they suddenly asked us to break camp. But one of my group mate figured it all out, though we thought he was being paranoid the first few days. Apparently, our group had a fake freshie, whom faked a sprained ankle. It was one of the most interesting thing i have ever saw in a camp. Makes me all inspired to join and organize one. haha.
- Starry Starry sky, nite, whatever, i cant remember. :P
It was the night of our performance, and we had to prepare a small skit based on the things we have been given. We had little red riding hood, voldermort and prince charming. Given that our group had two guys who are supremely corny and lame arse, the skit was guarenteed to be damn lame. And it was so lame, that nobody laughed at the jokes in our skit, jokes that seemed so darn funny to us. Cant blame us. We are just too slack. The rest of the groups had some other funny skit, and they had this idol kind of judging thingy. haha, hilarious.
- Fright Night.
Seriously, i was pretty scared about the whole fright night thingy, have heard that i would be going solo, since i am the guy. But it was pretty much unfounded. Yes, there were parts which was scary, but i will come to that later i guess. It started with a route through a dark lift, and then a zombie leading the way, and a person who was covered in blood asking you to dance, and a room with turning heads (one of them my senior, who laughed when i muttered wtf when she screamed all of a sudden. Lousy ghost. haha). Then it was a route through some labs. Some parts of it had people suddenly jumping out. I was shocked on one of it. I think i muttered something incoherent. Come to think of it, it was damn funny. Haha. It was some gibberish that came out of my mouth. Man. Then it this senior who acted as a dead boy who played with pen knives. It was scary, the way he held the pen knife, but it was a good act. It was getting pretty late, and i was tired out and sick of the waiting time, and frustrated like hell because i couldnt sleep cause i got my contacts on. but sleep i did, and finally, it was the third route, through this five rooms, which suffice to say, was quite scary. The first was this room with three clowns. The dark atmosphere give rise to a feeling of claustrophobia, but the candles made it seemed all the more frightening. The second room was one with The Ring kinda thingy. The third was a chinese ghost thingy, with subsequent ones getting darker but more quicker. But it was a fun and hella good ride all the same. Sorry this post took so long to come through. Cause i had another camp. Which i will update later in my next entry. Haha. Overall, it was a great ride, with new friends and new beginnings. Though something had to end. Sigh.
