Rockin' the Suburbs

Forgive me, for the long hiatus that has begun ever since the start of my hall camp. Suffice to say, the reasons for my long demise is complicated, but i shall come to inform you of what has happened, as a means for myself to remember.

I have been to many camps. Many many camps. Well, i mean 4 camps, but you should know that that is some sort of record. Who the hell goes for 4 (!!) camps?? He must be seriously retarded, or seriously bored (Its's actually the second point, dont get any funny ideas in your head.)*

*I must remember all my commas and punctuation. Where i should put them and all. For i had a lesson all on it, and it nearly drove me crazy. Commas??? Commas?? Where where? Here? There? Commas commas everywhere!! ahhhhhh

Moving on, maybe i should just list down the highlights that happened for the past few weeks. It was quite a blast, but it had their fair share of ups and downs. Rocky ride through the transition stage of my life, and yet i am smilling as i sit down in my hall typing all this into my blog. So, let's just begin from the start:

  • Hall camp.

This was one of the best moments in my life. I have never felt so accepted before. Maybe its because i was in a group where i could click with most of them. And it was nice, to find friends who i can fool around and joke around, without being afraid that they might think i am nuts. Yes, there are days where i was thinking "what if they dont like me" that kind of shit, but i remember what my friend told me, about how yes, it is hard to make friends, and it takes effort to think of what to talk to them about, but you must try. If not, you will never have much friends. And so try i did, and i had the greatest fun in my life.

Btw, i am in Hall one, with an attached toliet baby! :) it is the convenient that no other hall, maybe except hall two, get. I mean, you have a toliet on your own, all for a price of 155 a month, which is the cheapest already. And i am in the first hall, the one with the heritage, the experience, the hall with the foundation for fun all laid out. I heard that the newer halls werent that happening, due to the fact that there are many new people, so it aint that fun. Lucky for me, i ended up in here. Yay!

There were late night crap talks, stone table, secret meetings where scandals were shared, supper, more supper. And dotaing till the wee hours of the night. I sucked at it, so maybe i am just gonna play Minimizer till either i die from drinking so much water, or just go to the hospital due to..erm bladder going loose. :p but it was fun, the seniors were fun to talk to, and my group absolutely rocked my socks off.

I got many memories from it, mostly in the form of coloured shirts that were washed, but retained the marks of some of the games, which had the combination of eggs, feng you, vinegear, soy sauce, mud. More mud, and plenty plenty of fun fun fun. Plus paint, green tea, pepsi, flour, water, more paint and more mud. You get the idea. It is gross, but damn was it fun!

OH yea, there were two hall bashes, one at Nanyang Auditorium which was kinda nice, though the ambience werent there. I mean, please! Nanyang Audi as a "clubbing" kinda place? I mean, you could do better! but then, there were too many people to even fit into a real club, so i guess its quite understandable. There was another hall bash, more like pageant night. I missed it due to some work, which i will elaborate further later, but yes, it was very nice, the music was hip hippy, trippy, and oh so rocking. The people were crazy, playing drinking games, which i was damn glad i didnt lose. Whew. And the dance was awesome, though i couldnt even dance for nuts. Some of them went all hell for it, and dance like there were no tommorow. It ended late, but the ringing in my ears were memories that would last.

  • School

School started with a blast, actually, with just the meeting of my CS friends, to go to school together. It was..well, i slept through most of the lectures, and i was damn tired, complaining about the late nights i have. And the lecutures were so boring! i mean, seriously, news? i havent even read them.

    That's the first week.

The second week was better, with the onset of tutorials. I have currently counting THREE projects to do. I just discuss two yesterday, and it was..well..tiring to say the least, but the people in the group was nice, and i could click with one or two of them. We had a guy from Switzerland, whom offered alternative viewpoints on the project, which i must say was a huge help. Lucky for him, we had many different viewpoints that we would never have thought about. Lectures still remained the same, boring, and i kept on falling asleep. But i tried! Seriously, i tried! hahaha...

I am sure to get lousy class participation...damn.

  • Life in general.

It was nice, life and all. I had a rough week at some point of the 3 weeks, and it was my fault, for all the things that i have done that hurt you. And it is again my fault for being so cold. I guess i made many mistakes, so please forgive me. I never ever meant to deliberately hurt you.

On another side of life, i had a job as an Usher just two days ago for the INXS concert at Fort canning park. It was a boring job, but lucky for company. Thanks seok! :) And there was a twist to the events. When i thought i was gonna be bored to death, i was asked to do crowd control, RIGHT UP IN THE MOSH PIT. Damn, i am gonna get to see the concert for free baby! The music was loud and rocking, girls screamed at the singer, and the music was okay i guess, though for the life of me, i couldnt hear what the heck there were singing. The bass basically blew apart my ears, and my clothes. Everytime a bass string was plucked, i was like "damn, why is there so much wind." But it was a nice experience, though i must say the Adults there were utterly gross. One of them even threw her BRA into the concert. And in the end she was asking us to get her bra back. I mean, shit, you threw it in, go get it back yourself. Though i must say the singer took the bra and used it to wipe off his sweat. Damn. hahah.

All in all, i heard like 30 bucks, which was good for a free concert. wait, which was ultimately worth it! :) hahah!
So that's my life in general. Whew, finally got it all out. Heh.

Till next time. :)
