Interesting TVInterestingly, i was watching Fox Sports Channel for the UEFA cup final, where Espanyol vs Sevilla, and what caught my eye, and my sceptism was the number of advertisements shown on a cable channel. Seriously, even in a football match, they have small advertisements popping up at the bottom, squeezing the screen smaller, just to show something like "Buy soccer shirts today! To wear tommorow!". One thing interesting i noticed about the advertisements they have is the quantity, and the variety. Normally, the kinds you see in Singapore are either about products that you know, with celebrity endorsement, but what i saw was the kind like some that promotes a life changing experience, in a free CD. They show people, normal people saying that their life is in trouble, then this lady, who founds this programme, says, call this number, some programme will help you, suddenly, all the people who complained say they find it helpful, they find life good yada yada yada. And there is like a 10 minute TIME LIMIT for you to call! Whoa.It looks like the kind of advertisements you see last time that promotes items, with free gifts, a 30 back money guarantee, that kind of thing. Cant remember what it was called, but yes. Interestingly, it made for some interesting distraction. Though i must say, the first sevilla goal was amazing. An assist by a keeper THROW! whoa. hahaha. The match was interesting suffice to say.
